If you own an expensive Nokia phone like me (I own a 6280), and it stops working (which happens quite often with Nokia's high-end phones), NEVER EVER give it to an authorised Nokia Care centre for repair, especially AVOID "Mend Square" Nokia authorised care centre on Residency road, Bangalore.
My tyranny with "Mend Square" Nokia authorised care centre
My Nokia 6280 started switching off, after booting up. Normally, this issue should be resolved by simply flashing the OS (reinstalling the software). So, I took it to "Mend Square" Nokia authorised care centre on Residency road, Bangalore. They took 2 days for estimation and said some components had to be replaced and told me it would cost Rs.1300. They were not willing to listen when I said its a software problem. They said it would take 4 days for the repair. After 20 days, and repeated follow-ups and verbal absuses they finally told me to come and collect my phone. When I reached there, I found that they had damaged the phone camera. When I asked them, they said it was not working even before I had given them. I just hope that I get back my phone in one piece.
I even escallated the matter to Nokia careline (18004253388/30303838 in India). But it is utterly useless.
I have decided never to opt for a Nokia phone henceforth.
